Thank you very much for the help, Capstone provided for me.
It made a lot of difference in my life; well, I was able to continue with my education otherwise I wouldn't have without the fund. I'm now finished my degree and waiting for the graduation in September.
Moreover, Capstone have impacted my life beyond just simply finishing my degree and because I'm in a better place now, I wanted to join you in playing my part to make a difference on children in care as well care leavers.
Last year, I decided to take action so after a lot of reflection and thoughts, we (my partner and I) decided to become foster carer and we got approved in January. At the moment, we are fostering a 15-year-old lovely boy.
At the same time, I wanted to be able to support children with special needs so I'm working with Credo fostering agency as a support worker.
Really sorry, I didn't know that Capstone is also a fostering agency as well a care leavers supporter otherwise I would have got in touch when I decided to foster.
Having said this, I would have been in a different place now if it wasn't for the support I have received from you as well others.
